Soon after Zoe's birth, Darien became a passionate advocate for breastfeeding and attachment parenting. However, she couldn't find a sling that matched her style, and the padded slings she tried were too hot in the Texas climate. A seamstress for many years, Darien stitched up her own slings. Everywhere she and Zoe went, people asked where she found such a cool sling. ZoloWear was born! Darien holds a B.F.A. in theater from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
